Gujarat: CM Bhupendra Patel address the Quality Conclave on the occasion of 78th Foundation Day of BIS

Gandhinagar (Gujarat), January 6 (ANI): Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel addressed the Quality Conclave organized on the occasion of the 78th Foundation Day of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The event was attended by Mr. Sumit Sengar, Director of BIS, and Mr. Sandeepbhai Engineer, Chairman of GCCI. CM Patel highlighted the importance of quality and standardization in achieving global competitiveness, stating, "Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has risen as a global economic force. The mantra of 'Make in India, Made for the World' emphasizes quality in both products and services." He further said, "BIS has played a significant role in transforming India's reputation in global markets. From being perceived as substandard, Indian products and services are now recognized for their quality and reliability." CM Patel also praised Gujarat's focus on quality governance, mentioning that the Gujarat Chief Minister's Office became the first in the country to achieve ISO certification for quality service.
