Ukraine attacks Russian forces in Syria after Putin meets al-Assad?

Kyiv [Ukraine], August 1: Kyiv Post reported on July 31 that it had obtained exclusive videos and images showing that the Ukrainian military intelligence agency (HUR) had recently attacked Russian forces in Syria.
According to Kyiv Post sources in the HUR, the Khimik special forces group of this intelligence agency carried out another complex attack on the positions of Russian forces in Syria last week.
The target of the new attack was Russian military equipment at the Kuweires airbase, located east of the Syrian city of Aleppo and controlled by Russian forces, according to the Kyiv Post .
The released videos show the key moments of the attack: first a Russian mobile electronic warfare complex is destroyed, then drones attack Russian military targets at the Kuweires air base, according to the Kyiv Post .
The attack is said to have taken place hours after a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad at the Kremlin on July 24.
Kuweires Air Base has been used by Russian forces for military purposes since 2015. Ukrainian intelligence confirmed to the Kyiv Post that the base is also used to train and transport foreign mercenaries to join the conflict in Ukraine.
In early June, Kyiv Post also published exclusive video of Ukrainian special forces attacking enemy checkpoints and military equipment convoys in the Golan Heights in Syria.
According to Kyiv Post sources , since the beginning of this year, rebels with the support of Ukrainian fighters have carried out several attacks on Russian military facilities in Syria.
There is currently no information about Russia's or Syria's reaction to the above information.
