Arun's award-winning short film, The Throw (Beyond Borders), secured the top honor in the Indian Diaspora category, competing against entries from 35 countries. The award was presented to him at a special felicitation ceremony at the Indian Council in Melbourne by General Dr. Sushil Kumar.
